Approve Minutes: September 19, 2007

Adjudicatory Hearings:

1. In re: Lawrence Gomez (License No. 18337) – It is alleged that the analysis of urine sample #10051 taken from the horse, Guns Galore, at Scarborough Downs on July 23, 2007 following the fourth race disclosed the presence of Caffeine, a Class II Drug, which is a positive test pursuant to Chapter 11 in the Commission’s Rules. Guns Galore finished first in the fourth race. Mr. Gomez is the trainer of record for Guns Galore. The owner of Guns Galore is Kathy Rutherford.

Unfinished Business:

1. Approve the Written Decision and Order for the license renewals of the Off-track Betting Facilities.

2. Develop the language for the proposed rule changes that were scheduled for rule making.

3. Approve revised pari mutual license application.

New Business:

1. None.

Reports:

1. Government Evaluation Report submitted by Henry Jackson to the Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and Foresty.

Other Business:
            1. Establish January meeting date.
