Event #1 TROTTERS THE BLACK BEAR BASH
For 4  year olds and up that were non winners of $350 per start with a minimum of 6
starts of $12,000 in 2007. Trotters who are eligible to be claimed for $3,000 in
any leg or final are also eligible to this event
 
Legs: Fridays May 2, May 9, and May 16. Purse $2,400

Event #6 PACERS THE MOOSE MELEE
For 4 year olds and up that were non-winners of $500 per start or $15,000
with a minimum of 6 starts in 2007

     Horses must race in each leg to be eligible for any Final!! The eight top money winners in the legs that declare will be eligible to race in the final, with no more that two declarations from one interest. POST POSITIONS IN THE FINAL WILL BE DRAWN THE SAME AS ANY LEG OR OVERNIGHT EVENT!
     In the event that less than the top 8 money winners declare into a final, the next highest earners will be eligible to enter. In the event where enough money winners fail to declare for the final, starters in the legs that are not money winners may declare for the final to constitute a field of 8 and such entries shall be drawn by lot.
     Should fewer than six separate interests declare in for any leg or the final in any event, the event WILL BE CALLED OFF. Those eligible horses that declare in to start will share equally nominating fees for that event.

NOMINATION FEES FOR ALL EVENTS ARE $50

NOMINATIONS CLOSE AT NOON, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2, 2008      

 

Nominating fees are due with entry forms. Mailed nominations must be postmarked by noon the day of closing. Mail to: Bangor Raceway, 427 Main Street, Bangor, Maine 04401

CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions for all races will comply with the Rules and Regulations of the Maine Harness Racing Commission and the United States Trotting Association

  2. All events will be raced one dash at one mile. Money divisions on all events are 50, 25, 12, 8, 5 (%).

  3. No more that two coupled entries will be eligible to any Final; a minimum of six separate interest being required.

  4. Multiple declarations from one interest will separated in Legs whenever possible.

  5. DECLARATIONS CLOSE AT THE TIME AND DATE POSTED ON THE WEEKLY CONDITIONS SHEET.

  6. Those nominating horses to these events are responsible for eligibility. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR INELIGIBLE HORSES

  7. Bangor Raceway reserves the right to reject any entry.

  8. Bangor Raceway is not liable and assumes no responsibility for any loss by fire, theft, or accident, of or to persons, animals, equipment or vehicles on the premises.
