Maine Amateur Driving Club Application

In General, an amateur driver is a driver who has not received valuable compensation for his or her services as a driver in the past 10 years.

To participate in all club events, a person must hold a fair category or higher driver's license issued by the United States Trotting Association, is a current member of the MADC, and is in good standing at the locally affiliated racetrack.  The MADC will decide all questions regarding a person's status as a club driver.

In addition, each applicant must comply with all rules of The Maine Harness Racing Commission.
