Yonkers Raceway Names Bartlett Leading Driver, Sumner Leading Trainer

Yonkers, NY - December 23, 2008 - Yonkers Raceway concluded its 2008 season Tuesday night with live program No. 253  (four others were casualties of weather).       Let the record show that Jason Bartlett won thrice on the 13-race card, while Mr. One Eyed Jack (Jeff Gregory) won the final '08 event         During the program, Bartlett, Robert Sumner and Richard Annunziata were honored in the winners' circle by the Raceway and the Standardbred Owners Association of New York as leading local driver, trainer and owner, respectively.          Yonkers' 2009 live schedule begins Friday night, Jan. 9. After programs Friday and Saturday nights (Jan. 9 and 10), Yonkers resumes its five-night-per-week schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday--all at 7:40 PM--and Saturday--6:50 PM) the week of Monday, Jan. 12.
