Sunday, May 17th

Nothing exciting to report today.  The drivers had a day off.  Today was a National holiday in Norway called Constitution Day.  It marks their independence as country.  They had a huge parade in town this morning for the all the children.  The Norwegian woman were all wearing unique dresses, while the gentlemen were wearing suits.

At noon time, we met the delegates in their hotel for a buffet style lunch.  All of our meals have been very similar (salmon, potato & egg salad, different types of raw fish), we are very much looking forward to a nice home cooked meal.  After lunch we went to the thoroughbred tracks.  In Norway, then are called the gallops.  We stayed for half of their program and then headed back to our hotel.

Tonight we have pack up all of our luggage because tomorrow we fly to the southern part of Norway for Day 4 of the competition.  We are only there for a day and then we fly back into Oslo for the remainder of the trip.  We are anxious to get back to the competition.  We need to pick up good points so we can stay on the upper half of the leader board.  So until tomorrow.....GO USA!!!!
