Today was
a long day. We had to be up early to catch a 9:20 flight to
Kristiansand. Kristiansand is located on the southern part of Norway.
Once we arrived there we went to check into our hotel, then it was off
to the zoo (in the rain). The zoo was located right next to the hotel.
They had some very fascinating animals. Jason and I really enjoyed
looking at the lions and monkeys. At the end of our trek through the
zoo, they had lunch set up for us in a tee-pee.
After the zoo we went back to the hotel to get ready to go to the races.
When we arrived at the track, we did our usual, Jason put his colors on
and then we went to find his horses. In Norway, they do not race out of
the paddock. They have some ship-in stalls, but most are stabled there
and race out of the barns.
We did not have any luck at the races today. Three out of the four
horses Jason drove made breaks. They didn't
get disqualified, just didn't pick up a lot
of points. He did manage to pull off a third in his last drive. He drops
down to 7th with a total of 90 points. Peter Ferguson is still the
leader with 133 points.
Wednesday is the last day of the competition. There is still a chance to
pick some decent points. Though we might not be able to reach the top of
the leader board, we could still get some points to put us on the upper
half of it. Wish us LOTS of luck!!!! GO USA!!!!
