Scarborough, Maine – Driver Rob Dinning continues to hold the hottest hand at Scarborough Downs this weekend as the 26-year-old native of Windsor, Ontario posted an impressive four win performance on Saturday (November 8) to compliment the two-win tally recorded when he returned to action at his home-based oval on Friday following a brief hiatus.

Dinning launched his attack on Saturday in race four with a determined eight-hole bid behind the trotter Darsun, executing a picture perfect quarter-pole move before drawing away at the wire.
He then guided the pacer Dragon’s Heart through a gut-checking front-end journey, urging the son of Dragon’s Lair to dig down deep while repelling the determined stretch challenge of Titanium Driver in the sixth.
Rusty’s Rascal was perfectly placed to avoid the confusion caused by simultaneously breaking horses around the final in the seventh race as Dinning swooped three wide before driving hard to the wire to nip the front-running You Will Know by mere whiskers before capping off the prolific afternoon with a rousing gate-to-wire jiggy-jog with Jonah Boy in the finale.
Rob Dinning currently sits second on the Scarborough Downs leader’s board with 143 seasonal trips to the winner’s circle – seven wins removed from defending driving champion Drew Campbell.
Scarborough Downs proudly features live harness racing every Friday through Sunday with first post slated for 12:30 pm (EST).
