Maine horseman Gary Mosher has a successful day of racing last Saturday in New Jersey as he visited the winners circle at two different tracks.

At Freehold Raceway Saturday afternoon, Gary guided SMART LITTLE ART to a 1:56.1 clocking over the half mile oval. Owned by James Christensen, John Loiko, Michael Cayouette and Mosher, it was a new lifetime mark for the five year old gelding.

Later that evening, Gary gave the reins over to Brian Sears to steer BESTNOTLIE HANOVER to a new lifetime mark of 1:51.1 at the Meadowlands Racetrack. The four year stallion is a recent purchase for F.R. Stevens, John Brophy and Mosher.

Mosher plans on racing the New Jersey circuit for a few more weeks before returning to Maine. He will be back in time for opening day at Bangor Raceway.
