Comedy Night To Benefit SPHO

The Standardbred Pleasure Horse Organization of Maine is hosting a comedy night on November 20th. It will be held at the Gold Room on Warren Avenue in Portland at 7:00 pm. Three comedians are scheduled to perform.      

For all reservations made at the Turfs Sports Grill, the SPHO gets a portion of the tab. There will also be a raffle for numerous items (some horsey, some not). SPHO gets a portion of the ticket sales.

The SPHO works to promote Standardbreds. With the Ambassador Horse Program, horses are retrained as riding and driving horses. We also have a "hay for horses" program for standardbreds who don't have enough to eat.
