We have received some more information on the TCO2 positive tests that have been in the news recently.

This Thursday, the Maine State Harness Racing Commission will meet to discuss a couple of the TCO2 violations. One of them is for Douglas Gray & Eddie Fournier, Jr. Their Attorney, William Childs, Esq, has informed us that the hearing scheduled will be continued to a later date. In the interim, both the commission and defendants are to obtain reports from their respective experts. Mr. Childs states that the defense will be offering reports from a statistician, an equine blood gas expert and a forensic chemist. Mr. Childs is willing to share that information with ME Harness when it become available.

The MSHRC  did offer the defense 21 State Exhibits which has been shared with ME Harness. It is lengthy and some of it is not self-explanatory. It also gives the reader a taste of the chain of events that has expired from the pulling of the blood to the legal wrestling of the attorneys. It can be viewed at this link.

Editor's Note: After posting the State's evidence, sources tell ME Harness that the cover letter and attached exhibits were not formally filed with the commission and are not public record at this time. Both parties requested it be removed due to that fact. Given the information told to ME Harness at the original press time, we stand behind the original posting of the evidence.
