We are honored to have Mr. Roger Hammer as our guest speaker at the MSBOA Winter Meeting. The meeting will be held at the Italian Heritage Center in Portland on Saturday, February 19th, 2011.

Mr. Hammer is a perennial leading trainer in the U.S. and won a career high 146 races in 2009. His best-known star is Hambletonian winner, Vivid Photo, who has now earned over $3.12 million. Roger is known as ‘King of the Fairs’ in Pennsylvania and was Grand Circuit Trainer of the Year in 1999. He received the W.R. Haughton Memorial “Good Guy” Award in 2006. He will be able to discuss all aspects of training as well as giving insights into harness racings past and future. This is a rare chance to learn and ask questions from one of the great trainer/drivers in the sport. All horsemen and women are invited to attend.

The MSBOA business meeting starts at 3:00pm, social hour and silent stallion auction at 4:30pm, auction at 5:30pm. Dinner will be at 6pm, Speaker at 7:15pm, followed by awards.
