At their monthly board meeting on Tuesday, September 6th, Mike Cushing was appointed to the MHHA Board of Directors. Mike was appointed, as specified in the MHHA By-Laws, to fill the vacancy in District 3 left by the passing of our longtime board member Sheridan Smith.

Mike Cushing has been involved in the harness racing industry along with his family his whole life. Mike, along with his wife, Charlene runs a large stable at the Farmington Fairgrounds. Mike is a well respected horseman among his peers in the industry and will be a welcome addition to the board.
